Carrie had a pretty bad prom night...won't you take her home?

This is a one-of-a-kind, never again to be duplicated marionette-style art doll of Carrie White, as portrayed by Sissy Spacek in the classic film "Carrie". She is painstakingly crafted from polymer clay that's been sanded to be glass-smooth and painted with acrylics and sealed with matte and glossy varnish to prevent scratches and fading over time.

She stands 10" tall and comes with a doll stand as well as clear string atop her head if you wish to hang her up for display, as is classic for marionettes. She has long synthetic blonde hair that's been painted and sealed for a permanent "wet look" and wears a 100% silk replica of her infamous pale pink prom dress. Her dress is machine sewn for perfect lines and hand-stitched onto her at the back, so it is not removable. She has a non-removable corsage and her shoes are sculpted replicas of the white sandals seen in the film. "The blood" covering her is acrylic paint that's been carefully painted with gloss varnish to give the appearance of wetness.

She is articulated with secure pins and wire hooks at her neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, thighs, knees, and ankles for fluid movement when handled and posed; her wrist joints are tighter than the rest to keep her hands in their iconic position while she's not being handled, but they are able to be posed.

Each doll takes over a month of painstaking work to create, and when they are complete I do not replicate the same dolls twice-- so once this Carrie is gone, there will never be another. Please bear in mind that this is not a child's toy and is not designed for rough playing; it's a delicate art piece meant for light handling and display.
